    4-cell and travellers drawer = 4.37lb
    4-cell and optical drive = 4.8lb
    6-cell and optical drive = 5.0lb
    9-cell and optical drive = 5.4lb
    9-cell and media bay battery = 5.74lb

Calculated using the main battery specifications found here. Modular/media bay battery weight from here.

So I weighed my notebook when I flew to Portugal and I weighed the machine with the 6 cell and it said 5.5 lbs and the 9 cell said it weighed 6 lbs. Who is cheating who? Dell or the Airlines?
