Hello, I am considering a D620, but one thing that is a make or break for me is, can I scroll from the touchpad? Or at least with the pointer stick like on the lenovo's? My current laptop of 4 years has a scrolling touchpad which I cannot live without. I am primarily a typer.

Most modern laptops can--provided the necessary drivers. My e150 and t60 could/can do it.

Yea, I understand most can, most of which that I have seen can, but none of the reviews make a mention of it, and from what I've seen, it doesn't have a dedicated scrolling area, meaning it would all be in the driver, but I don't know if the driver allows for scrolling...

Can anyone who actually owns a D620 shed some light please?

Yes. The software driver for the Latitude D620 creates a righthand scroll zone by default. You can customize your vertical and horizontal scroll zones as well.
