I heard the D620 has a built in microphone but I can't seem to get it to work. Does anyone know how? Thanks.

NEVERMIND. I FINALLY GOT IT TO WORK.

How did you get it to work?

    Where is it?

I have a headset so I never bothered to use an internal microphone.

Control Panel/Sound, Speech, Audio Devices/Sound and Audio Devices/Voice/

Under Voice Recording click on Volume and check Internal Mic option. The default is External Mic. I was having trouble making the option for Internal Mic stay like that. You could also try under Audio/Sound recording and select Internal Mic. One of them has to work. Test the mic out. Sorry if I'm not being clear. :)

This is exactly the problem I am having. The config keeps moving the selected mic from internal to external but I don't have an external mic connected. Dell site has no references to the problem.

Were you ever able to determine how to make it stick? We are using Skype and almost every time we use it we have to use the config routine to select the internal mic.
