    I've heard that the battery upgrade on the D620 sticks out the front of the machine, is this true for both the 6 cell and the 9 cell or only for the 6 cell? Also how much heavier is the 6 cell than the 4 cell? Thanks in advance!

    I have read on the Dell site that with an optical drive and 6 cell battery it would be 5.0 lbs.

    Starting weight with a 4 cell and no optical drive is 4.3 lbs.

    I am guessing it is 6 lbs with the 9 cell.

    Thanks for the info, where is that posted on the Dell site? Since the D620 is new I can't find much useful info on it.
