    Hello.

I have had my D620 for a bit over a month now, it came with a 6 cell battery (atleast i think so, i just checked then and all i could see was 56wH and 11.1V)

When i got the laptop it would get about 1:55 with low-medium brightness and a bit of web browsing, but suddenly in the last week it has decreased to about 60 mins from a full battery!

It charges quite fast, i just don't understand how it drains so fast!

I am thinking of buying a 9 cell battery but i don't like how it sticks out at the front.

I always charge battery to full then run it down then charge it back up again. So i don't think my battery has a memory problem.. If i do get a new battery is it best to condition it by wearing out the batteries by gaming? or just web browsing.

note: i bought this laptop second hand from ebay, so i guess the laptop battery has been used for some time

    Thanks!

Download and run a program called Battery Eater Pro...it can tell you if your battery is loosing too much capacity. Your battery may be faulty and loosing it's ability to hold a charge...or you're just running it at too powerful of a power scheme.

Since you say you got it off of eBay, I would second your guess that the laptop battery's been quite used.
