    im looking to buy a d630 and put in my d620 components as my charging circuit is knackered , so i want to put in my yonah 667fsb t2400 1.83ghz and all my other bits n bobs

    will my cpu be compatable with the d630 motherboard and does anyone know what motherboard it is as my d620 is currently the i945pm and the socket is
    a 479 mpga according to cpuZ

    any info would be lovely !

    CPU will not be compatible, RAM is fine, HDD is fine.

    damnit , suppose i could buy the base of the machine with cpu do you know which socket the d630 uses?

    the D630 has a built in firewire port on the left side as well.

    It's Socket P. The D620 probably used Socket M.
