Hello,
is it possible to replace a XGA panel in D600 with a SXGA+ from D610 (GMA900)? And the other way round - to put XGA from D600 into D610? Only a panel is enough or also an inverter has to be changed (I suppose together with an inverter)? Does it have the same connectors (30pin?) so I can use an old connecting cable?
Or maybe The whole screen fits, so I don't have to dissmantle it (however D610 seems to have wifi antenna inside the lid opposite to D600 having it inside a body).
Thx

I did the opposite, I swapped the SXGA+ panel from a 600m (identical to D600 except the casing) and the XGA from a D610.
The inverter is screwed onto the bottom of their respective panels and doesn't need to be removed. I only swapped the connector cables, which isn't even required as the actual connectors on both ends are the same. -
It works perfectly. Bezels/top covers are different, so one can swap only panels (+ inverter). Cables have the same connectors but are a bit different, so they should also stay. BIOS recognizes a new panel immediately and I have no problems at all.
