    Hi,

Overall this is a very nice machine 1 GB RAM, 1.6 GHZ processor and x300 video.

I have noticed that my Toshiba 40 GB hard drive model MK4026GAX, always sounds like it is caching. It sounds like the heads are reseting themselves (for lack of a better description).

It is not the normal hard drive sound when accessing, but a "buzz" buzz" sound that goes on/off. Can those that have this hard drive check and report back.

Again, nice machine overall and I am curious if I should have Dell send me a different size/brand of drive?

    Thanks,
    Erik
