    Hi,
I've just bought an used Dell Latitude D600 for some office work. It was working well (under Windows XP) until i decided to install Ubuntu 7.10 from the Live CD that i have installed it on my desktop (and it works great on it). On D600 there were no errors during installation, but after i tried to restart - it turns off everytime in the middle of progress bar on main screen (i don't know how to call this bar - he's the movie 0,7MB large, showing it). I even can't enter BIOS (F2) or one time boot menu (F12) - it just turns off.
Ubuntu was installed on primary partition - ext3.
I don't know what to do.
    Please help.
    Best regards
    Mariusz

Have you installed GRUB (bootloader) to the MBR?
