D531 Questions

Hey all -

Anyone here have a D531? I was thinking of picking one up, but was I wanted to hear from anyone here who has one and has any thoughts on it. I read the review on the site with great interest. I am particularly interested in the screen quality, but would like to hear about any other things about it good or bad. The review on Laptop Magazine's site said the screen was great but the one here was less enthusiastic about it. I would like a glossy screen and above wxga while not spending too much money which leaves the choices of Dell or Dell I just need one for typical type stuff like office, music, internet, movies, yada, yada. I think the Athlon will be enough for me. I don't need much performance and liked that it seems to get great battery life for a low cost. Anyone who could help out, that would be great. I have loads of D531's at work - since thats our main choice of laptop for staff.
What exactly would you like to know?

Thanks for the reply. Mainly I'm looking to get as much information as possible. How's the build quality, the battery life, anything you really like or dislike about it. I am really interested in the screen. I would prefer a glossy screen above WXGA without breaking the bank which leaves me with the D531 or the Vostro 1500. I don't really care for the Vostros that much. The reviews on the D531 are mixed saying either screens are or bad, or the battery life is good or bad. I'm left with conflicted reports and you can't see a D531 in a store. I'm sure I could return it, but that's always a hassle. So I'd like the get as much information as possible before deciding.
