Is there much difference in going from a D420 with a ULV 1.2GHz Core Duo processor to a D430 with a ULV 1.2GHz Core Duo 2 processor. This is a work computer and is used for email - basic office tasks and surfing completing web tasks.

So will I notic a difference in these 2 processors? Other wise the D420 and D430 are the same!

I think you'd be hard pressed to notice a difference. Both processors (U2500 and U7600) are of the exact same specs (1.2GHz, 2MB L2 Cache, 533MHz FSB), the only difference being the Yonah and Merom cores. I'm guessing you could notice few seconds difference here and there with like video encoding, but definitely not in basic office work.
