    Hi everyone
recieved my D630 a few days ago, and its been running fine (removed the pesky vista basic and installed xp).

But i have been having some issues with the d/port replicator. I have the setting in BIOS on "use replicator graphiccard" or what its called, and if i turn of my external 22" dvi-d monitor and go out of the house for say a few hrs, and when i come back, most of the time the screen is black (i try opening and closing the laptop lid but still wont get a signal) and it results in me having to reboot the pc to get the image back.

and when i then reboot and get back in windows, the resolution is wrong (its at 1440x900) which is correct for the laptop screen though..

    anyone experienced similar issues?

In reply to my own problem i think i have solved it.. i disabled the "turn of screen " in xp's power management, then the screen at least turned back on but the resolution was still fubar.
i then installed a software called hp my display, which seemed to fix the problem..crossing my thumbs ;)
