I'm debating on getting a D/Dock expansion bay for my D620 Latitude, but I had a question before getting one.

I've noticed on eBay there are plenty of docks on sale that are used and manufactured before the D620's were released. Are these old models still compatible with the D620? Most compability list only mention the D600/800 etc. and every now and then the D410/610/810s.

I assume that the PD01X dock hasn't really changed, so is it safe to assume they'd all work the same despite the different manufacturing dates and part numbers?

D-Dock is D-Dock.... D family all share same Dock. That wont change until the F-series latitudes come out, and no one knows when that is.
