hi, i usually play music or movies with a set of external 2.1 speakers, and i want to know is it possible to have the speakers play as well as the laptop's built in speakers? to be honest i just want the built in subwoofer to play, to give it more bass.

    thanks in advance

If it connects through the headphone jack i dont think the sound card will output to both main speakers and headphone.

If it connects via a usb port there might be a chance.

With that said.If your already using a 2.1 system the laptop sub isnt going to improve the bass any IMO.
