    What would be the easiest way to acquire this software, as I will need it once I format my laptop.

    Just call Dell's tech support and request it. They'll send it to you free of charge and within two business days.

    Personally, I would buy the full version but i love cyberlink

    Sweet, sounds good. Well, I think I have all of my required drivers. Does 12 sound like the right number?

    Yeah, that's about right.

    You should have one for audio, BIOS, input, video card, and communications. Plus Notebook System Software and Dell Quickset. 2 for chipset, and 2 or 3 for networking depending on your configuration.
