    Hi,
I wonder if anyone can help me.....the cursor on my laptop seems to take on a life of its own sometimes and moves to either end of the screen. I can retake control eventually....but a tad frustrating when you have a pair of Aces in the hole ;). Is it a notebook issue or XP perhaps. Any ideas?
Thanks very much for any response.
    Cheers,
    Whorwe

are you using any external mouse like an optical mouse? cuz sometimes if i use a really colorful mouse pad it can sometimes jump. but if you are talking about the pad in the middle...

try reinstalling the mousepad software. and make sure the pad isnt dirty cuz sometimes it'll jump. those were some of my experience i had and now its good now.

If you have a trackstick, you may also be bumping that without realizing it. You can disable it in the Mouse settings on the Control Panel.
