    Anyone ordered any inspiron 1525/studio 15 lately?
    How long did it take for your order to get to you?

    The problem is that I want to get a dell laptop, but I need the laptop by next week >.> (yes, very bad planning by me)

    Have you ordered your laptop yet??? If you haven't, and are concerned about receiving it ASAP..you may want to place your order fairly soon!

    If you haven't ordered yet, and when your do if your ESD is not when you would like it to be ~ you may want to consider ordering from the Dell Outlet.
    They ship pretty fast out of there ;)

    I just ordered a 1537 (the $999 package, only customization was Ruby Red color). Here's the details, I'm pretty happy but you can be sure that all bets will be off once Black Friday hits...

    Order Date: 11/20/2008
    Shipped Date: 11/23/2008
    Est. Delivery Date: 11/26/2008

    Update: It came at 1:30pm today, the 26th. Less than a week from ordering to in hand, which is pretty awesome.

    ah thanks guys for the posts!
    I just talked to a dell assistant, and he did a sample order for me and said that the estimated date of delivery was 5/12/08.

    Which is perfectly fine by me, so I'll order it today, and hope it comes even earlier than that :D

    I ordered on 11/11/08. EDS was 11/21/08 and delivery 11/24/08. I was informed that shipment was delayed to 12/1/08 on 11/21/08. I freaked out and threatened cancellation. They quickly responded on the same day saying my laptop was in final production stage and should be out in the "next 24 to 72 hours." I was skeptical but I didn't respond to that anymore. But I checked today... and it said it was shipped YESTERDAY! And if everything from the website and said in the shipment notification email was true, I should get the Studio 15 today. :)
    So it was only one day delay in shipment. Very much acceptable to me. Also sales rep was very responsive. Good first impression.
