Well I'm looking to pick up an M1330 on the cheap. My father is willing to pay on the condition he can put it on his dell account. The best price seems to be from the dell outlet, I'm just wondering how safe that really is? Would this be an extremely dumb move? I'm willing to take a little risk but I was just wondering if there where any catches I should know about beforehand?

Dell Outlet makes sure your laptop works. They usually have a 1 year warranty on those.

But with all the recent returns on these units, I'm not sure I would want one...the list of known issues for returns is huge...from screen issues, sound quality, build quality in general...my 2 cents

I've heard lot of good stories from outlet. More positives than negs.
The systems have same basic warranty as new systems, at much better prices. I've seen topped off M1330 w/ SSD drive at 1700 bucks from it. I would definately try it out. -
Yeah, I think I will. Thanks for the input, I'll just be real cautious and check it over real well once I obtain it.
Curious about dell outlet
