Just wanted to inform all inspiron 6400/e1505 users that there is a "critical" BIOS update (Version A06). Its written "Urgent Dell highly recommends applying this update as soon as possible. The update contains changes to improve the reliability and availability of your Dell system."

How critical can this be? It says that the enhancements are:

1. Add support for newer version of the Intel processor.
Wouldn't the BIOS that shipped with your E1505 support the processor in your E1505? Why would one need to upgrade the BIOS in an already built E1505 to support newer processors? It's like brain surgery (and warranty-busting) to replace your own CPU! -
