Last month I put my Adamo on standby overnight with the lid shut. I woke up and opened it up with one hand. As it was opening, I noticed a distortion ripple across the screen, but figured I was still half-asleep and didn't think much of it. A little while later I noticed my screen had cracked! Nothing internal, just the top most protective glass. The colors and picture are fine and the crack is only noticeable at angles.

First off, I'm a bit disapointed in the flimsy structure of the screen. I've never had this sort of thing happen before, and especially on a higher end laptop. However, I do love the design of the Adamo, and the performance is more than adequate for my needs.

What I want to know is if there is a way to just replace the surface screen which is cracked, or must I replace the entire WLED panel? I have yet to reach a person at Dell with a straight answer and I've just started looking into it yesterday.
