Why did the core duo processors just RAISE in price? It's now $200 to upgrade from 1.6 to 1.83. It used to be $60 bucks..

Oh boy, that's a pretty big jump from yesterday. Based on other's posts, it looks like T2400 was severely backordered (as also the T2500 and T2600) and this is Dell's way of balancing their supply chain and forcing people to think hard about the T2300 instead.

Looks like im waiting again for another price drop
-
Great, backordered. And I just ordered a 1210 with a 1.83 on Monday...
-
Awesome! Good thing I ordered my e1505 two days ago.

muahahaha im pleased that i ordered in the lowest period :dell: :dellcoupon:

Intel® Core™ Duo Processor T2600 (2.16GHz/667MHz FSB) [add $325 or $9/month2]
Intel® Core™ Duo Processor T2500 (2GHz/667MHz FSB) [add $150 or $4/month2]
Intel® Core™ Duo Processor T2400 (1.83GHz/667MHz FSB) [Included in Price]
Intel® Core™ Duo Processor T2300E (1.66GHz/667MHz FSB) [subtract $44]
Hmmm, those are the EPP prices, still only 44 from a 1.66 to a 1.83? -
This does not make any sense, but the price difference between T2300 and T2400 when configuring the E1505 is 60, but on the E1705 it is 200 !!

yea, i ordered mine on sunday, and it had pretty low prices. then again, i ordered a e1505
