Hi, I have a 1000+ value of an Inspiron 1505 laptop. I have the Dell EPP/FSS coupon for $100 off. (Not sure what that is.) Then I have the student/university discount which takes off a measly 4%.

Now, when I try to add the coupon listed on this site for the applicable laptop, I get this message:
And no additional information is available in the view details link. Is my crappy school discount inapplicable w/ this one? Any other ideas out there?

All I can think of is either your school one cancels it or maybe you brought the price down to under $1,000 so the coupon wasn't applicable.

It must be the former case because the price was about $200 above $1000, even after the school discount. So is that generally the case, that university discounts don't work with that kind of coupon? Pretty lame then, since the 20% coupons are always available, seems worthless for get 4%.

Yeah EPP is usually not anywhere near as good of a value as the regular Dell coupons.
