    Coupons in the UK?

    I've heard that Dell offer coupons which take cash off selected models every once in a while, for free. Can someone tell me a bit more about these coupons - are they physical pieces of paper or just some sort of password or what?

    Also, are they available in the UK? I really want to get a modded Inspiron 6400 for around £1100 and was wondering if I could get any money off with these coupons?

    No, they arent really available in the UK. Once you configure your system call Dell and ask for some discount, the phone reps do have some freedom in their pricing and you can usually get some money off.

    I persuaded a mate to get a D620 last Friday and he managed to get a little over 150 pounds off the online price (which was ca. £1500 as configured, so thats about 10%).

    Look out for deals in newspapesrs. The Guardian often has money off deals adverstised either in the paper itself or in leaflets that come with it.
