I'm trying to get the best deal possible on an e1505. Does the 10% "Deal" stack with the 30% coupons?

in addidion to that there is fatwallet, and are there any other ways to save some $?

I'm not sure what the 10% "Deal" is. Here is the 30% off coupon...

30% off Select Inspiron Notebooks $999+ (Excludes XPS)
Code: BTV1PGRRLM1VLS Exp 7/13 5:59am CT or after 4000 uses

You can apply that and then also buy a $35 stackable coupon off ebay. Then if you sign up for fatwallet, you will get a 3% "cash rebate". And if you have an American Express card, and pay with that, (or get one) and pay, then you will save another 5%. Or you can pay with a dell preferred card for another 2% off. Do all of this and your looking at a little over 40% off. ;)

None of the coupon codes on this site work. I alsoheard that American Express gives u an extra year of warranty, any truth to this? It's important to me because I'll be a college student and don't want my laptop crapping the bed halfway through.

This is incorrect. What good is the warranty given by AMEX if it's only good for one year from the date of purchase? Dell already gives you a one year warranty.

The ADDITIONAL warranty provided by AMEX goes into effect the date that the Dell warranty ends, so it would in fact give you an extra year of coverage.

So if this is true about Amex giving you an additional year of coverage, who do you contact if the computer breaks during that extra year?

It is true, no "ifs." More information can be found on the AMEX site.

If the computer breaks during the additional year of warranty, it would be repaired by Dell & AMEX would reimburse you for the cost. So technically you would have to contact both Dell & AMEX.

Keep in mind that AMEX is not the only credit card company that does this. Visa & Mastercard also have similar benefits.

To keep the thread on topic... (sorry Bionix)
Generally, Dell coupons only work with certain e-value codes... usually the codes that don't already have any other discounts attatched. Dell does this to prevent certain discounts from being stacked. So the e-value configuration with the 10% discount is probably not listed as one of the ones that would work with the coupons you're trying.

If I want to add coupons to the student discount that I got, then how do I do that? Do I have to find special coupon for that?

Dell has several sectors... Home, Small Business, EEP, etc. There are specific coupons for each sector & each coupon only works in the specific sector for which it was issued.

Since you're receiving a student discount, I assume that you'd be purchasing from EEP. So you would have to look for EEP coupons. Most of the coupons posted on these boards are for Dell HOME & there for would not work for EEP.

    Visa
    Master Card

This benefit is NOT available w/ ALL MasterCard's/Visa's, although it is available with most good cards. When you received your card, you should've received a "Guide to Benefits" insert. You can always double check with the issuing bank of your card.
