I ordered a Dell E1705 two days ago (28th) with a 30% off coupon but they've just released a 35% coupon and that actually means quite a bit more money back. Could I cancel my order (which hasn't shipped) and re-order?

Haggling might be worth a try. Otherwise your could cancel and reorder. I don't think there is a penalty.

just cancelled via chat, apparently if you want to tack on a new coupon, you have to cancel first (for future reference...if anyone was wondering)

but they are good about cancelling, apparently you can cancel anytime before its shipped without any fees, charges, or hassle.

This has always been the case for me. The only problem is that the wait starts all over again. I personally don't mind, but I know there are a couple people on these boards who just can't wait to get their notebooks ;)

I went to the chat and told them I could get the system cheaper with a coupon. Both times they gave me $100 off of $100.01 coupon. You can usually Ebay these for $60-$70 even if you don't want to use them. Then you get your stuff without waiting any longer and a discount on your next thing...
