In deals2buy.com there is no deal for Core duo. There are only deals for core proc solo and core solo.

I just wanted to know whats the difference between these 3.

Should i wait for a deal for core duo E 1405?

The core duo will perform much better when you do a lot of multitasking...at this point single core machines should only be purchased if you'll only be checking email, surfing the net, and writing up a doc in word or excel.

Why don't you post the answers from the FAQs and we can help you out more.

Another thing to consider is that the Dell Coupons might get you an even better deal on a machine than what deals2buy.com could offer.

Thanks a lot for the info. While I suppose i dont need 1405 core duo I would prefer to take that as I have seen how good the E 1505 core duo is, how fast it is and all. But I dont want the size and bulk and weight.

What I cannot understand is E 1505 core duo is available for 800 $ but E 1405 core duo with the same features is available for like 1200 or so?

Why such a great discrepancy? Thanks all the same for the help.

The discrepency comes for the size. Since the e1405 is smaller, they charge more because in tech world smaller is better.
