Does anyone have any knowledge as to why there's no differences in upgrade pricing between the Core Duos & Core 2 Duos?

I'm not complaining or anything... that just means newer & better for the same amount of money. But, I'm baffled as to how this can be?

It's not a glitch, I believe Intel announced that the C2D chips were going to be priced at the same level as the CD chips. I agree that it is strange, but who's complaining? :D

Intel promised the exact same prices, that's why the price is the same :)
Dell is offering both because if you need your notebook seriously fast you have to choose Core Duo as Core 2 Duo can cause some delay. However, it seems as if the shortage is very subtle right now and the only reason Core Duo still is available is because Dell has stocks of it and want it gone :)

Well they can eat their Core Duo chips for all I care.

If that's seriously the case as far as pricing goes, Core 2 ftw.
