Ok, so i finally got my E1505. Now this is really stupid. I donot have a Core Duo logo, instead there is an Intel Centrino sticker. I'm thinking its beacuse I got the Intel Pro Wireless thing and not the Dell wireless card.
Does anyone know anything about this?

I want a Core Duo sticker...

There is someone who sells them on ebay. You can find them pretty easy!

ROFL - promise im not being mean...its simply the first time I have heard someone commenting (negatively) on a sticker. BUT, I can understand you want it (you paid for it!). I guess I shouldn't expect a sticker saying Core Duo on my Inspiron 6400 when it comes later this week. I also have the Intel wireless (Centrino) config. Just remember, its whats inside that counts ;)

    Hey-

I'm pretty happy right now; I found out that the sticker I ordered actually came with a laptop! Who would have known!

nav211, same thing with my E1505. I only get XP sticker and this sticker [IMG]
this plain centrino sticker supposed to be for core solo centrino!

and actually if you order dell wireless and not intel pro, I dont think it would be qualified as Centrino at all. So, we deserve the sticker :D call me whatever but the sticker on a notebook is just like a scout badge on a boy scout.

I wonder what dell would say if we all email them and ask for the sticker...

A guy in a local forum got it's E1505 a days ago and he got the centrino duo logo:

I'd like more a 'Core Duo' logo over 'Centrino Duo', can't wait till my laptop arrives.
