Hi, i have been using an e1405 for 2 months now and i'm going to switch to another e1405. The 2 laptops are practically identical minus HD drive capacity. I want to find a way to transfer all files, OS settings to the new computer. I really am not a fan of formatting the new Dell then re-install all my programs, settings manually.
I have an external HD so transfer big data is no problem.
    Thanks

imaging is your best bet, another option would be to just swap the drives, and do a repair install of windows
