This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Cool Voice Recognition on Vostro

    i was playing around and came across VR that is part of Vista I think and works with the integarted microphone(don't need webcam, every Vostro have it).

    To play with it go to Programs> Accessories>Eas of Access> Windows Voice Recognition. Here you can setup the microphone get a tutorial on how to use it.

    May not be very practical but it is quite cool.
