Whenever I plug my earphones in my Studio 1537, I can hear a constant noise without playing any music or other audio. Is this normal? Do you have this as well?

I googled it, searched these forums and many others but I can't seem to find very much about it. I wonder if I should live with it or get Dell to fix it.

Bump. I'm sure I'm not the only one with the Studio 1537, so please: reply!

Thanks for your reply, but it has no effect, as I suspected. :) Disabling the A-band could work if you have crackling sounds or 'plops', not if you have a constant noise which is more like a hiss.

Do you have a Studio 1537? Do you have this noise?

    Can anyone else please reply?

Why don't you just call Dell? They should be able to fix it.

I'm sorry, I'm still waiting on my Studio 17, but I noticed that this 'solution' was provided a lot when problems like these appeared. I hope you find a solution soon.

I have the same problem with my studio 1537. Does anyone know a solution to this problem yet?
Should I contact Dell about it, or can't they fix it?
Maybe it is a driver related problem, which they should fix with a newer driver?

Or is this normal and should we learn to live with it?

    Thank you.
