This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     One thing that really bothered me with the D810 was the paint on the palm rest which tended to wear of within a year of use..

    Was there any improvement regarding the paint quality on the D820 and D830 series ?
    I'm also considering the Thinkpad T61, but it seems that there are some serious stability issues with it.
