    Hello,

Yay! My 2nd replacement vostro 1400 had arrived!
BUT, once again, it is a crap. Noisey harddrive, backlight leakage..

Now I am officially sick of replacement systems and I want to return and get my money back. But the problem is that I first purchased the laptop on August and my 30days return guarantee is over..,

So, do you guys think I can still request a return and get my money back??

    P.S. Im switching to HP dv2500t :D

    Apple MacBook Pro.

    Quality costs.

    Otherwise: deal.

lol... all LCD's have like leakage.. Only ones I haven't seen not leak is the Eizo screens.

Sure, you may think HP, Lenovo, IBM, Sager.. who ever, may be better but in reality, good luck getting good support or a replacement lol.

All hard drives usually make noise.. noise is good that means the heads are locking properly. So no damage if you decide you should drop the machine..

Franky I think you're over reacting to very minor and common 'issues'.

I was able to return my 1420 over 21 days(though i cancelled my return after Dell gave me $125 money back and send me another replacement). Just say "Dell agent said if I am not happy with my replacement, I can return it even after 30 days". Worth a try. If not, get another NEW replacement. But don't open it when you get it and sell it on eBay. Good luck!!!
