All the drivers are up to date, but every since the re installation of everything I keep having internet issues. Seemingly at random times the adapter crashes.
When this occurs, the only way that I know to fix it is to log out or shutdown.
What the heck has gone wrong.

Hello..this is driving me nuts. And I can only find *new* drivers on Intel's site.
-
I found the older version, and it was stubborn as hell to go to a lower release number.
Also, I noticed, when it goes fubar the wifi green light above the keyboard would go off. I hope this older driver works. -
Have you tried deleting the drivers the reinstalling a new copy? -
I got the old ones on here now. I had uninstalled the new one, shutdown, turned on and they were present again. I was able to "search" for the old one for installation.
What was strange was that it showed the new and old ones available for installation, even after I had unisntalled the new driver. -
A little better, it hasn't been totally crashing..but I still need to "Repair" every hour or so.
-
I can't be the only one with the problem am I?
-
still crashing, and the light freaking out

Actually, i've noticed that mine has started crapping out when using the wireless network too. Can't say i have noticed the connections manager popping up at the same time though. Although i do recall seeing it during some shutdowns. Using the newest driver too. On a week old format and install!! So everything should be crisp!
Bad drivers! Bad! -
I have this problem too and have done a clean reinstall and installed the newest drivers (skipping the old) from a CD I burned them on before formatting.
Still, that didn't stop this problem from occuring on my Dell Inspiron 9400.
Usually occurs after browsing for a long time and having mutiple browser windows (IE 6.0) open, or having used a memory intensive application earlier (such as some games or graphical design software) and then attempting to browse online.
Basically the page will refuse to load (timeout) and I cannot use ipconfig (window will open and then get stuck doing nothing - after closing the window, it will continue to be displayed in the taskmanager. It will display as often there as you ran/closed ipconfig)
On shutdown/reboot, I will get a popup telling me Connections Tray is not responding and there is a ~20% chance that after ending it, the notebook hangs completely and I need to manually shut it down. The other ~80% of the time, it will shut down/reboot after a minute or two of being idle.
On a side note, I'm also using wireless, but have windows manage it rather than Intel (Intel has too many popups and sounds I can't seem to turn off)
