    Hi all,

    Im having dell inspiron 1525 for which battery has gone dead.Will connecting the laptop to mains without battery affect any components inside? :confused:
    Or Will dead battery affect my laptop if i keep it in the laptop(connected to mains).:confused:

    No ... Why would it? From what I know, connecting it to AC with a battery that's full is the same thing as connecting it to AC without a battery. I do this a lot until recently, until when I found out the power goes out 99% when there's a storm ...
