Just wondering if connecting the m1530 to a 42" 1080p tv would work fine. I'm thinking of getting this laptop and would be nice if I know what the quality would be on my TV.

Edit: would it be in 1080p or 480p...

The m1530 has a 1080p hdmi output...so i believe it should work fine with your television! The graphics card 86ooGT supports it, im not sure about the 8400gs tho.

The 8400M GS supports it as well.
