    Hey,
I'm getting an S-Video cable and i just wanted to clarify somethings. I need to enable the tv out on my Sharp tv. Then i press F8 on my 8600 but thats all i know. Can someone give me full details on how to so i can see my computer on my tv. It sounds kind of obvious but i just want to make sure. Thanks! :)

That should do it ... you then have to set the TV input as the S-video source.

Yes, basically, connect the laptop to the TV, and make sure the TV is on video mode.

Then, press FN+F8 once, and you should get an image on both the TV and the laptop, then press it again, and it will switch over to the TV.

    Chaz

    Laptops are great DVD players!
