    Connecting Insipron 9100 to Monitor

    I'm will be attending architectural gradaute school in the fall.
    I have been researching notebooks and have just about decided to go with the 9100. The main dilemma is the screen size. I will be using it for computaional intensive applications ( CADD and 3-D modeling and rendering). The speed is on par with Toshiba and zd700 but they have 17" screens which is appealing. What i was thinking was that I could use the 9100, when desired (in the studio), with a large 19" or 21" monitor. When i leave studio (go to library or home) I can tote it around and use the 15.4 screen. Does anyone have any idea if this is possible and know what may be required and any complications?

    yes that's totally doable via the video out the Inspiron 9100 has on the back. You can also output to a TV using the 9100 if you wish. Our review of the 9100 is here with diagrams
