I'm a newbie to the forums, and I apologize if this should be in the "XP Reinstallation and Format Thread" but I didn't really think it applied to it...

I am ordering a E1705 from dell.com. I figure that I'll be reformatting it once I recieve the notebook due to junk that Dell puts on it (I selected the option of no pre-installed software when I ordered it, maybe that will help). However, I was reading over the guide to reformatting and it says I should buy the XP disk from Dell for 10 bucks. I have not seen the option on the website to purchase this disk anywhere. There is also no option to buy it when I am customizing my notebook. This is confusing me, and maybe Dell has updated their packages, but does the XP Disk come standard with the E1705 now? I remember when I bought my Dimension 4 years ago it came with a reinstallation disk of Windows XP Home Edition, and it worked fine when I had to reformat that desktop. Will I receive the same disk with my E1705?

Any information at all would be much appreciated.

Dell has recently changed it - they are sending the discs with the laptops again. Sorry about that. I haven't updated the guide to reflect that.
