Using Ati Tool and nTune it shows:
    475Mhz Core
    400Mhz Memory

By Official Specs 8600M GT is:
    475Mhz Core
    700Mhz Memory

    What is wrong here?

It's the DDR2 version, which is clocked at 400MHz and not 700MHz like the GDDR3 version.

The ASUS G2s and Apple Macbook Pro also has the GDDR3 version.
