I just got my 1420 but I think it is way too big. I had been using a sony txn15 but its my wifes now. I really want to get something smaller that I can carry around when I travel and was leaning towards the m1330 but I am not sure that it is that much smaller. I was also thinking about the m1210. Can somebody point me in the wright direction I want a ultraportable laptop hopefully under $1800 but it needs to be more powerful the my old sony txn15.

    Thank you in advance.

The 1330 is 1 inch smaller to start with, it is also thinner than the 1420.

Not dramatically smaller, no - with a 13.3" screen you're only going to be able to get a somewhat smaller footprint overall.

But as Johnny mentioned, it's significantly thinner, and also significantly lighter.

i simply bought a 1330 because i thought the 1420 was too big. it didn't look like it would be much smaller just from reading the specs, but when you have it in your hands you'd be surprised how much smaller and thinner it is. also, it looks much cooler and has xps support...

Yes, you will not regret the M1330 in both its weight and performance. My girlfriend has it and it's one of the best designs on a laptop that I've ever seen.

I originally ordered a D620 and sent it back as soon as I saw that the m1330 was coming.

After my m1330 arrived, I knew right away that I had made the right decision.

I've had it for about a month and a half now and every time I touch it, I know I made the right choice.
