Hi, i'm planning to get Dell XPS M1330 but there are some component that i'm not sure which to choose.
    1. Alpine white LCD vs Alpine white LED? Which is best for graphic (game/movie), and the camera VGA vs 2.0 Mpixel.
    2. Which wireless to get, Intel Pro 3945 or Intel 4965AGN?
    TQ.

The 4965AGN is what i have in my computer. It (As the AGN might suggest) support 802.11a/b/g and the new n standard. So you might want to get it make the technology last longer but n is so fast you'd need to be transferring a hell of a lot to really need it. Also the associated technology (routers etc) are all fairly expensive.

As to installing XP i'd say it'd work fine.

The LED screen is thinner and brighter than standard CCFL. The VGA cam is sufficient for web conferencing.

If there's a kiosk near you then you might want to drop by and take a look at the LED screen. Personally I'd *like* to have the LED screen but after seeing it in person today I just can't justify the $300 increase it's currently at. Maybe back In August/early October when it was $150.

    Thanks,
    Andrew

As been said the LED is thinner than a CCFL screen.

The LED screen is also lighter-
This is from the Dell website-
Starting weight of 3.97 lbs system weight is with 13.3" WXGA LED LCD, integrated graphics, DVD+/-RW and 4 cell battery.
Starting weight of 4.28 lbs system weight is with 13.3" WXGA CCFL LCD, integrated graphics, DVD+/-RW and 4 cell battery.
All XPS M1330 displays are 13.3 inch widescreen HD displays with TrueLife 1280x800. The LED display starts at 3.97lbs and is 0.87 inches thick compared to the standard display which starts at 4.28lbs. and is 0.97 inches thick.

You may have no issue though with the CCFL screen being slightly thicker and heavier.

Here is also a review of a XPS M1330 with a CCFL screen-

A LED screen is also supposed to offer battery saving measures as well. I would go with it but i would make sure that i got Dell down to a good price on it before i ordered.

Also the best graphics card for gaming is the 8400GS card.

get the LED. its worth the upgrade coz you'll end up witha lighter, brighter display and thinner notebook.

the wireless is only usefull if you plan to use the N technology. if you dont, you can upgrade it later easily. note that Wireless N is still in draft and they could change.

um...about the stability, personally I think they are pretty much the same, except now I have games that I could play on M1210 but not M1330. I'm waiting for my replacement of M1330 to test them again...

The thing is, I have M1210 and is really annoying that it ALWAYS freeze at 1st few boot everyday! Planning to sale it and get M1330 instead, but if it's having the same problem (Driver wise, system freeze/conflic ete, etc) then i might just go with other brand....
