    Recently, I saw a cable soundbite that Dell will be introducing the following new promotion: Upon the purchase of certain Dell desktops and laptops, Dell will refurish the purchaser's old Dell computer. Has anyone heard of this promo, and how can this news announcement be verified? If this is so, then it sounds like an offer that can't be refused [ :)].

    I read the story--they won't be refurbishing your old machine for you, I believe that the offer is that they will recycle it for free.
