For some reason my computer was turning on after i i put it in hibernation, so i went into the bios looking for stuff in power management. There's something called sata dpim in there and i have no idea what that is. Should i leave disable it or leave it enabled? Also, has anyone experienced a similar problem and have a fix?

It has nothing to do with that setting. On my 9400 this option came after a recent BIOS upgrade. I turned it on and this didn't have any effect on hibernating. As far as I know that option was added for Windows Vista compatibility.
