I've had a ton of problems with this one in the past, from a cracked case (still cracked) to a dvd drive that doesn't work (dell didn't do anything, I didn't stay on them,) to a bunch of other problems. Any way to get them to just replace it? I've had it for ~2 years, with another year left on my warranty.

Have them repair it. If they fail at that 4 times, then they'll replace it.

not true, 4 issues total can result in a replacement and usually the 4th issue is the one that they go straight to replacement.

I've had issues with motherboard, memory, dvd drive and LCD and that qualified me for a replacement. You just have to call in talk to tech support explain your situation and that you can't be with such an unreliable product. (it helps if you have the on site repairs- not sure if thats part of COMPLETE CARE)

Once you go through the tedious process of finding a technician who can understand you enough to put you through to a manager they usually just process a replacement. (always have them make notes of your concerns and problems as well to document your having to call in so often)

If you really have issues and can bs a little you can swing a plethora of upgrades.
