My daughter dropped her Inspiron 1525 on the floor and now the screen is not working. Contacted Dell Customer Service thru the Chat on Mar 2. They said the laptop had to be sent to the depot. They would send a box in which I would ship the laptop. It would take 2-3 days to receive the box and about 8 days to get the laptop back once I shipped it. Long story short, the box has STILL (9 days later) not been shipped to me. I've chatted four times and all they will do is re-create the order to ship the box to me. Needless to say, I am NOT a happy customer!

Don't do chat again ~ Call back, and speak with an actual Rep..explain what has happened. Ask them to please provide you with the necessary mean's to get things moving forward ~ on the process of getting the lappy picked up, and sent to depot to be repaired.

If they state they are unable to do this for you, then ask to be transferred to a Resolutions Specialist, or advise you will be completing an Unresolved Issues form. Be sure to get a Case Number with all necessary information e-mailed to you.

    Good luck!

    Cin ;) :)
