    Hi,

I would like to upgrade the Intel® Centrino® Wireless-N 2230 PCI wireless card found in my Inspiron 7720 laptop to the Intel Centrino Ultimate N 6300 in order to boost the wireless performance by using the 5GHz band.

Is this card compatible with my Inspiron 7720?

Does the BIOS allow the installation of this card?

Has any owner of an Inspiron 7720 upgraded to the Centrino 6300? If yes can you please reply and let me know the about the performance of the 6300 installed in the Inspiron 7720.

    Thanks in advance, guys!
