My delivery date was from April 29 to May 3rd. I still haven't received my laptop. Just wondering if it's common for Dell to be late? I left several messages with the Account Rep but he hasn't called back. Have you gone through the same experience as I am?

    Let me know, thanks
    Tom

    Hi Tom,

Both laptops I purchased as well as replacement laptops all came on or before the due date.

However, I have heard from time to time of shipment arriving late. That being said, email, call, use every avenue possible so that it gets to you.

    Hope you get it soon.

It's not uncommon for them to be late, especially if it's anew unit like the i9100 or XPS. Try calling the main number if you don't want to wait for your rep. 1-800-999-3355

Thanks for the feedback. It turns out that the delivery truck got into an accident! So now I have to wait another week. I wouldn't have been upset if they informed me, but they didn't. The account representative kept on saying he's looking into it and never returned my call, so I decided to call Dell Canada and Purolator just to find this out for myself. Thought I'd share this with the rest of you.. Not a very good beginning..

Wow, that's a new one Tom! Might I suggest complaining to Dell in a nice manner that you weren't informed...Dell is usually pretty good about giving credit (usually around $100) to unhappy customers.

    Just a suggestion.

Thanks Nesbo, but I've tried. But today I just discovered that Purolator hasn't even picked up the order as of yet! This means that both the Account Rep and Dell Canada lied to me. I'm still waiting for an explanation. I don't want to scare anyone from purchasing Dell, but I'm looking into cancelling the order altogether
