Sorry the heading was supposed to read "has" not gas.

I keep getting this error whenever I have my WD Passport external hdd plugged in, does anyone else have this issue. from what i have read it has something to do with codecs that arent fully supported my vista. this is really annoying!

I understand that, my question was how to stop that from happening. if you choose to close the program it just keeps popping back up. the only thing you can do is just leave the window opened.

    i'm just guessing but

    1. move all media files into seperate folders
    2. right click the hard drive thing and do properties or whatever - basically, change the view of files from like music details to icons, ect.

this is starting to be annoying, has anyone found a way to correct this problem? I tried doing what googling suggested but no dice. So far this is the worst Vista issue I have come accross!
