A game I play isn't the most stable, yet when I try to hit ctrl alt delete it stays in game screen. Hitting the power button and the system refuses to shut down. In a desktop situation I simply hit the reset button. The only reset I've been able to accomplish with the laptop is to unplug AC and battery.

Is there another method to doing a cold reset -- a key combo?

    Thank you.

Try to hold the power button for like 10 seconds next time, if you set the power button to shut down, not standby or w/e.
